As LFJ reported earlier this week, the calls for tighter regulation of litigation funding in the US based on the claim that it threatens national security have continued to grow from politicians, corporations and lobbying groups around the country. However, litigation professionals are speaking out to critique these claims and suggesting that these arguments are simply being made to protect those threatened by litigation, rather than out of a genuine fear about foreign entities exploiting the US judicial system.
