The Litigation Finance No One Talks About
Michael B. McDonald, PhD
Litigation finance is has become bifurcated into two halves with each side often unaware of the best practices on the other side of the space. Commercial litigation funders are disdainful of personal injury funders in many cases and vice versa. Personal injury funders tend to have more developed internet marketing and valuation models, while commercial funders tend to have better access to capital and better access to media attention. Both sides can learn from the other.
